This beautiful heart shaped locket is crafted from solid 15ct Gold and is an example of Victorian sweetheart jewellery at its very finest,

Incredible chasing all over its face creates some fabulous texture and surrounds a central old cut diamond which sparkles delightfully when it catches the light.

Measuring 1.8cm x 1.6cm and weighing 2.96g, the heart opens up into a locket which has a compartment on each side to hold a photograph or memento. The right side still has its original frame

The back of the locket has beautiful engraving of what looks like a monogram of the letters, 'M C'.
