A wonderful antique Victorian locket and collar featuring beautiful foliate engravings across both sides of the locket and a pretty dove in flight across the front.

The locket is modelled in Sterling Silver and opens up with room to insert two photographs within. It is fully hallmarked on the reverse dating it to 1881.

The piece is complete with a Sterling Silver collar made up of fancy open-worked links. It is fitted with a large hinge clasp and features an extra section of chain which can be attached to the locket to extend the length.

It is steeped in history with exquisite workmanship displayed throughout. A true antique treasure.
